SHOW: "FORM::FUNCTION"

LOCATION: The Buzz Bar 546 E. Larned, Detroit

A bi-monthly, multimedia art exhibition hosted by Cubegallery and Creative Peoples Network

A fresh spin on the concept of an exhibition, FORM::FUNCTION will present original artwork and music by emerging Detroit area artists in a new context each month. FORM::FUNCTION will be held in alternating locations around the greater Detroit area.

FORM::FUNCTION is equal parts art exhibit, networking function, fashion show and live music event for the public and free of charge, allowing attendees to view original artwork, meet emerging artists, see new Detroit bands and DJs, and help the Detroit art scene grow.

Exhibiting artists include Dave Krieger, Phaedra Robinson, Jaye Thomas, Taurus Burns, J.B. Davis, Mike Depaolis, Charles Nowak, Amber Knowlton, Scott Humphrey, Rudy Salazar III, Gary Wagaman, and Elizabeth Isakson.

Entertainment: live DJs Colin Zyskowski and Robert Barrett of Peoplemover Productions, and live music from Jamiel (Anadonia) upstairs.

Cubegallery is an online commercial gallery that represents the fine art and photography of emerging artists. Cubegallery has a distinct drive to promote and support artists and their work, making new art accessible to new audiences.
