Established in the Depression years of 1932-1933, The Detroit Artists Market was founded by Mrs. H. Lee Simpson (a Detroit art patron). Artist, collector, and member came together to attend garden sales, lectures, group shows, among other cultural affairs.

The Gallery is open from 11:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. For more information on exhibitions, 313.832.8540
The Detroit Artists Market is located near the Detroit Institute of Arts, and Wayne State University. Exhibitions are open to the public and free-of-charge. Parking is available in the lot directly behind the DAM Gallery.
