The
Eve of St. Agnes
Live
art performance by Sue Carman Vian
The
Eve of St. Agnes is a performance art piece by Sue Carman
Vian about memory and beautiful language. It is a
poetry performance taken from a romantic poem by John
Keats, from which is expanded into issues concerning the
loss of memory in the aging process and amazement at the
dramatic results obtained through memory exercises. The
aged-classic and experimental-contemporary styles are
used in the originally composed music and rap singing
as well as in the costumes and digitally projected stage
effects.
