Robert
Schefman
Politics
and
Religion
An
exhibition
of
recent
works
on
canvas
and
on
paper
by
Robert
Schefman:
Heralds
of
insightful,
satirical
and
often
humorous
commentaries
on
the
human
condition,
Robert
Schefman's
seductive
narrative
paintings
are
enhanced
by
the
artist's
unsurpassed
technical
expertise
with
anatomy,
color
and
spatial
form.
His
manner
of
realist
illusion
exploits
what
he
calls
the
unchanging
reality
of
sight.
These
are
images
an
audience
can
relate
to
through
a
shared
consciousness
for
the
essential
human
values
at
their
core.
A
fitting
crescendo
to
our
fall
series,
this
visual
rapture
is
not
to
be
missed
