It’s Spring Break and that means we’re going on a road trip! While we’d love to head to Puerto Rico, we’re headed for the suburbs instead. Ferndale, in fact! Yes, we’re leaving the city limits. Shocker, we know, but it’s required that one go out of town during spring break.
Join us this Friday night, March 27, at 9:00pm (prompt) as we invade Loving Touch!
Promptly, you ask? Yes. We want to make sure that we have a large, visable presence. So please try to show up as closely to the start time as possible. Think of it as a starter before ending the evening down the street at Como’s or Soho.
What’s Loving Touch? It was once an infamous massage parlor in Ferndale that closed in the 1990s. Now it has been reinvented as a spacious and chic pool hall. We couldn’t think of a more appropriate place to have our spring break event than at a former massage parlor.
If you haven’t been to a Detroit Guerrilla Queer Bar event, now is the perfect time to check out what all the fun is about! Last month, we attracted 150 people to our event at Taste Pizza Bar and this month is sure to be just as much fun.
Loving Touch is located directly south of The WAB. There’s no signage so it might be hard to find, but just look for The Wab and you’ll see it right next door. Parking is available on the street as well as lots behind the streetfront retail.
