Seventeen artists were selected to appear in The Silver Medal Exhibition at The scarab Club in Detroit. The Exhibit was juried by Rebecca Mazzei, Assistant Dean, College for Creative Studies and former Arts Editor for the MetroTimes. The exhibition runs from February 18 – March 29, 2009. The Artist reception is March 6, 2009 from 6-9 PM.
Prospect by Bill MurckoMichigan Surface Design Member, Dolores Slowinski, has had three pieces accepted in the Scarab Club Silver Medal Exhibition. Slowinski’s pieces are titled Icarus, Bliss, and Monkey Bat. They are a trio of “flying sock monkeys.”
