Walking Distance features the artists Scott Hocking, Emily Linn, Laura Macintyre, Toby Millman, Kathleen Rashid, Chris Samuels, Gary Schwartz and Corine Vermeulen-Smith.
In this show eight locally resident artists explore
Scott Hocking, Georgia Earthworkdifferent avenues within the bounds of walking distance, creating works that variously take their inspiration, subject matter or construction materials, from individual interpretations of the term. The results touch on issues such as neighborhood, change, perception and just the simple joy of walking. There will be a program of short films by Gary Schwartz on the subject of walking (“Schwartz Shortz”) date to be confirmed
2739 Edwin is just West of Joseph Campau, and 4 blocks North of Holbrook. There is public parking on Joseph Campau, and various other locations including 2 lots just North of the building.
