“Micro Mini” at the Ferndale Film Festival

September 3-7. 2009
Downtown Ferndale

The Ferndale Film Festival is opening it’s “Micro Mini” film challenge for the film festival’s premier year. The “Micro Mini” challenge involves making a 300 second or less movie due on September 3. The Ferndale Film Festival is taking place September 3-7 in downtown Ferndale and is presented by Huntington Bank.

The “Micro Mini” challenge is designed for those that feel too rushed or do not have the time to make a film in the recent trend of 48 hour film challenges. People that want to hone their skills, try out new techniques or simply make their film debut in a relaxed atmosphere are encouraged to participate.

The challenge has limited rules and regulations: the “Micro mini” films must be 300 seconds or less, include a reference, logo, or location for Huntington Bank, and a reference, logo, or location for the city of Ferndale. The film can be any genre, technique or style you so choose. Entry/submission fee per entry is $5.00, all profits will be donated to the Ferndale Film Festival Charities: Ferndale Youth Assistance, Michigan Aids Coalition, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
