Anton Art Center

Everyone is welcome to view the work of the Anton Art Center’s hundreds of members as part of a special 40th Anniversary exhibition.  Members Only will be on display August 28 through October 4, 2009 in the center’s Main Galleries.

Visitors to the exhibition will be asked to vote for their favorite piece in each age category:  Adult, Grades 7-12 and Grade 6 and under.  Voting begins August 28 and ends September 30.

The winner in each category will receive a People’s Choice Award and a cash prize at the closing reception.  The closing reception and awards will be held Sunday, October 4, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.  The reception is free and open to the public.

Applications for Members Only are available through August 21 on the center’s website, www.theartcenter.org.  Entries must be received by 4:30 pm August 22, 2009, at the Anton Art Center.

The Anton Art Center relies on the support of its members, volunteers, donors and corporate partners, all of whom believe in the importance of quality visual arts.  A family membership costs only $50, and is valid for one year.
