(Re) Discover Genesee: “There are so many things to do and see!”

“Flint & Genesee County have moved light years ahead in the areas of entertainment, art & culture and family friendly activities. This campaign offers an opportunity to explore all that the county has to offer your family.” This is a part of the (Re) Discover Genesee Campaign launched by Flint Club (with prize sponsorship from the Flint Area Convention & Visitors Bureau). The purpose of the campaign is to highlight phenomenal businesses, events, organizations and groups around Genesee County through the use of our Discover Passport. The passport is FREE and available at select locations or by downloading it from www.rediscovergenesee.org. Participants can receive a stamp at selected locations throughout Genesee County until September 7, 2009. After September 7, 2009 they are eligible to complete a survey and win prizes such as: a Nintendo Wii, FIA (Flint Institute of Arts) or Sloan/Longway family membership, gas cards, gift certificates and so much more. It is time to renew, refresh and revive our sense of pride in our county and throughout our communities.

(Re) Discover Genesee is a passport program that includes some of the following businesses, groups or organizations, Farmer’s Market, Flint Institute of Arts, The Lunch Studio, Sloan Museum/Longway Planetarium, Chosen Few, Children’s Museum, Greater Flint Arts Council Playland/Bonkers, U of M Rec Center and so much more.

This event occurs across Genesee County until September 7, 2009. Dates and time may vary depending upon participants selections. More information is available at the Flint Club located in Durant-Dort Office building. Flint Club’s address is 316 Water Street, Flint, Michigan 48503.
