Eat, Drink and Be Artsy!

Over thirty of Macomb County’s finest restaurants and caterers will have their best food and drink available at the Anton Art Center’s 18th Annual ArtParty. ArtParty, the Anton Art Center’s signature fundraiser, will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2009, from 5:30-8 pm.

Crowd favorite, Century Banquet Center, winner of last year’s Best Dish contest, will be on hand again. Other returning establishments include Leong’s 21, Bath City Bistro, MacRay and Tina’s Country House. Among new participants this year is Buffalo Wild Wings.

ArtParty features a “taste of Macomb County,” with restaurants and caterers gathered under large tents along Macomb Place, just outside the art center building. ArtParty attendees roam the tents sampling appetizers, desserts, wine & champagne and more.

Advance purchase tickets are available for $40 per person. Call 586-469-8666 for reservations. Tickets are available at the door for $50 per person.

This year marks the art center’s 40th Anniversary, a milestone that will be celebrated at ArtParty with an outdoor sculpture show, live entertainment, a silent auction, a raffle, the featured exhibition Members Only, charity poker and blackjack, and more.

Raffle tickets are available by calling the Anton Art Center at 586-469-8666. One ticket is $5 and a book of five tickets is $20. All proceeds benefit the Anton Art Center’s programming.

The raffle prize drawing will be held in front of the Anton Art Center at 8 pm, Thursday, September 24th, at the conclusion of ArtParty 2009. You need not be present to win. State of Michigan license no. R03297.
