The City of Detroit is again asking its’ citizens to patrol the streets of the City for Angels Night. Detroit Blading Company and friends has volunteered to be part of this effort.

Walter Johnson will lead the Angels’ Night In-line Skate Patrol on Friday, October 30 from the Butzel Family Center located at 7737 Kercheval. The phone number there is 224.2989. We will meet at 6:00 p.m. The patrol will leave at 6:30 p.m.

Detroit’s’ biking community is invited to join in as well. The patrol is designed to be part of the “eyes and ears” of the City during the Angels’ Night Volunteer Campaign. We will report any suspicious activity to the base station for appropriate action.

This skate is for anyone who can brake and is comfortable skating with light traffic. Helmets, wrist guards, knee and elbow pads are not required but are highly recommended.
