Beet On Green

“Evolutions of a Doodle” will be on display through January 4, 2010 and features the art of Tamm Lehew Whitty. Her whimsical prints start as doodles, twisting, turning and evolving into a final piece. Tamm then transfers her works into hand carved linoleum block and prints on paper, canvases or fabric. Other works have polymer impressions made which are then painted with acrylics and other media.

Originally trained as a classical singer, Tamm’s eclectic interests and musicality inspire her unique designs. Her work has been seen in group shows at the College for Creative Studies (CCS), Grosse Pointe Artists Association, Izzy’sRaw

Butterfly

Art Gallery and solo shows in Grosse Pointe Park, Birmingham and Mt. Clemens. Her painting “Hedwig,” was featured on the cover of the CCS Continuing Education Course Catalog.
