Play: “Let Nobody Turn Me ‘Round,” a musical running Feb. 12-March 6, 2010

The New McCree Theatre has announced a casting call for its production, “Let Nobody Turn Me ‘Round,” written and Directed by Reuben Yabuku, a musical celebrating the life of the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King and the Civil Rights Movement.

Auditions will be held Monday and Tuesday, December 21 & 22, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. SHARP, at the theatre’s new address 5005 Cloverlawn, Flint, MI.

The theatre is seeking male and female actors between the ages of 12 and up. Approximately 20 actors and dancers will be involved. Actor/Singers should come prepared with a song of at least 16 bars, a verse or paragraph of a poem or monologue to read, and an eight-count dance routine.
