Good Luck (bloomington, in) have been winning hearts and minds everywhere they’ve visited for a few years now, and for good reason. They brought down the Cass Cafe on their first visit to Detroit a few years ago and have returned to Trumbullplex several times since. (www.myspace.com/wearegoodluck)

Michigan’s own Cheap Girls (lansing) are singlehandedly making the 90s cool again, resurrecting powerpop slacker rock along the lines of Dinosaur Jr. and the Lemonheads. DIY punk stalwarts the Max Levine Ensemble and Delay are both on tour, from DC and Columbus respectively. TMLE may be on their last tour (though they said that last time), and Delay has a new record on Detroit’s own Salinas. The kids (and some of us older folks too) are pumped!
