Work by the late Gloria Goeddeke, a respected painter who made her home in Harrison Township, is on exhibit at the Anton Art Center through February 27, 2010.

Over 30 pieces, including oils, watercolors and pastels, are on display in the center’s Boll History Gallery.

Ms. Goeddeke passed away February 4, 2009 at the age of 77, after a prolific career as an artist. She had a long relationship with the Anton Art Center, dating almost to its founding in 1969.

Entitled Journey, the exhibition takes its name from the piece Ms. Goeddeke had on her work easel at the time of her death. The works collected demonstrate Ms. Goeddeke’s interest in people and nature. Many are priced for sale.
