“ENERGY: Charles McGee at Eighty-Five” is a sixty-year retrospective of the work of one of the most important Michigan artists of the last century and was organized by Eastern Michigan University’s art department. This exhibition is an abbreviated version of the original exhibition, which was presented at EMU November 9 – December 19, 2009. The exhibition and catalogue are made possible, in part, by a grant from the Michigan Humanities Council, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
