Org Contemporary presents Ablation, an installation of works on paper by Jeanette Strezinski.

The works of Ablation are inspired by a cardiac procedure where a form of energy renders a small section of damaged tissue inactive, ending arrhythmia(s) that originated at the problematic site.

Strezinski received her BFA from Michigan State University and works in Detroit. She is the founder and director of Detroit Industrial Projects and her studio is located in the Russell Industrial Center. The opening reception is Saturday, April 24 from 6 to 10 p.m. The exhibition runs April 24 through May 15.
