Access Arts would like to invite you to submit a proposal for work to be exhibited at Belle Isle Park on July 24, 2010. Deadline for Submission is June 1, 2009. This is a multimedia art exhibition. We welcome submission for earthworks, installation, and performance art. Other media will be considered, however, keep in mind this is an out door public art exhibit. To submit, go to our blog. Download the artist application/proposal, fill it out, and email it back to us. Details about the exhibit can be found on the application/proposal.

Access Arts is a community arts project focused on developing public exhibition opportunities in the City of Detroit. Currently, Access Arts hosts exhibitions at Belle Isle Park. As one of Detroit’s hubs, Belle Isle serves as a point of reference for the local population. The island park is a source of inspiration, and the exhibitions are an opportunity for Detroit’s communities to engage the park through the artworks of area artists. Access Arts provides an inclusive exhibition at an outdoor venue with the support of Belle Isle’s Parks and Recreation Department. We would love for you to participate!
