One Night Stand Detroit with Bask

It’s a little misleading to refer to refer to a long-standing and mutually rewarding love affair between an artist and city as a one night stand, but the visit by Bask is making to Metro-Detroit is indeed equally constricted by time and filled with love.

This show will feature, for the first time, a hybrid online and physical art opening offering a rare opportunity for the same viewing public to purchase original pieces before many are made available as limited-edition offerings on 1xRUN, the gallery’s sister website for global art buyers.

At exactly 7pm on June 30th, all remaining pieces will be released on 1xRUN with local collectors having first chance to purchase a collection of BASK’s latest work.

Opening Saturday, June 30, 5-7pm.

The Realm of Repetition:  Works by Hiroko Lancour

Hiroko Lancour is a multi-media artist. Born and raised in Japan, her original artistic sensibility was cultivated in the eastern world. Having lived in the United States most of her adulthood, Hiroko’s aesthetics has become a hybrid between east and west. Exploring this condition of hybridity has become a major focus of her work. Hiroko had a career in information technology for nearly twenty years before she found her passion for art. Her favorite media are paper and fiber.
