We have a busy week coming up here at Art Effect Gallery and you’re invited. Please join us as we welcome New York based performance group SixandFour Articulations on Friday July 13 at 8pm (donation only) and for our own opening Saturday July 14 from 6-9! A fun filled art weekend, so please stop by and show your support…

Also, beginning Tuesday July 10 from 5-8, Germack Coffee located in the heart of Eastern Market will be hosting weekly Open Mic Night! Along with good music and great coffee, Art Effect Gallery will feature a weekly artist. So if you’re an aspiring musician, coffee lover or entertainment seeker this is sure to be a fun night out!

Opening July 14th, 6-9pm

Join us at Art Effect Gallery as we host “Detroit: through artist’s eyes” opening July 14 from 6-9. We will feature video by Gary Watts and Ginni Reiter, photographs from Maya Fardoun, Rosa María Zamarron, Jason Rutter, painting by Lebree Jones and installation by Rebekka Parker.
