Their Beginning:
The Detroit Art Exchange Gallery/Museum is a visual arts gallery/museum, conference
center, restaurant and entertainment center. According to Jan Goffney,
executive director and former museum employee for 20 years, “We’re located
in the lower Woodard corridor … Our logo represents the unity of our four
distinct cultures, African, Native American, Asian and Middle Eastern. We
do historical exhibits.”

Located in the Art Building at 2966 Woodward Ave in Detroit, 48201
Hours are by appointment only.

Mission Statement: To educate and promote cultural diversity through the arts by giving artists an environment to exhibit their creative work.
